The Contraption Quartet will perform their new original composition, The Box, with the Golden Gate Symphony Orchestra in two Bay Area concerts also featuring Carmina Burana and works by Vivaldi.
The Golden Gate Symphony Orchestra & Chorus has always believed that great music shouldn't be reserved for a single concert hall — and this spring, that belief takes center stage. Maestro Urs Leonhardt Steiner leads the full orchestra and chorus in two Bay Area performances of Carl Orff's iconic Carmina Burana, paired with Vivaldi's Gloria and Winter & Spring from The Four Seasons. The Contraption Quartet opens the concert with The Box, along with the orchestra.
